Grimes Glen is a typical upstate NY creek to explore. A number of waterfalls up to 90ft (30m) make it an enjoyable trip. We explored the area with some basic off track walking.
If you want to go there note that I've marked it as 'moderate' because it's not always on a track. You'll need to climb up some wet muddy slopes without tracks (ropes are available in some places) and you may end up getting your feet wet.
