A VERY handy edition to our car-based camping setup is a small shelf or table on the rear door of our old Pajero. Of course it depends on what style of rear door you might have but for a side-opening door it works well. Check out the video. Very simple to make and cost nothing more than what I found in the shed and an hour of my time.
This short video shows how we make a 'Gypsy' swing from a couple of trees, a rope and a tarp. It's easy to set up and the kids (and adults) enjoy it at any campsite.
It was October last year that I first posted on our new camping trailer project. The plan was to give a running update, but that didn't happen.
But the trailer is finally finished and we've just come back from our maiden voyage with it in tow, Although we had used the trailer a few times in it's unfinished form. The video shows what we've come up with and hopefully it might give you a few ideas.
During the video I say that trailer was originally a 7x1, it was actually a 7x4.
There are many ways to pack a vehicle for a camping trip, each method working to a more or less degree. In this video Dion shows how they pack their old Pajero, but it will probably change next time they set out.
