New Garmin GPS software for MAC

For years MAC users have been frustrated at the lack of the software for their Garmin GPS units.

A little while ago Garmin finally released Roadtrip - software specifically written to enable MAC users to interface with their Garmin GPS units.

I've been trying it for a week or so and it is comparable to Garmin's Mapsource (their software for PCs) but does things a little differently.

The main feature it doesn't do as well is track editing and creating. On Mapsource this is easy. Roadmap allows you to edit tracks but you can't create them (as far as I can see so far).

It is well worth a look, although I still have Mapsource installed with Crossover.

A recent review of Roadtrip can be found here..
