Why should my kids keep a diary?
Getting kids to keep diaries when travelling will be a priceless treasure in years to come. Well worth the perseverance! Their highlights are throwing rocks at VB bottles and who lit the campfire.

translation:
We went from Birdsville into the Simpson Desert and stayed at a camp site and we had a fire and now we are sitting and writing our diaries and we are having spaghetti bolognaise. We went up Big Red and it took us three goes to get us up.
